How do our walking tours work?
Our walking routes are fully supported, slack pack routes. The route is predetermined and you are able to self-pace throughout the day while a dedicated support team handles your luggage transfers, hotel bookings and meals.
-
No more heavy bags! Each day the support team transports your luggage between hotels. You only walk with a daypack with a warm jacket, your water bottle, camera, and snacks.
-
Daily walks usually last between three and seven hours. The leisurely pace allows plenty of time for swimming, delicious lunches, and exploring the towns along the way.
-
The route is not technically challenging, but a good level of fitness ensures that you can enjoy the trip worry-free. The terrain consists of hills, gravel roads, and footpaths. If you are comfortable walking for a few hours on various surfaces, you will easily manage the distance.
-
Not necessarily. Your tour leader is on the trail with you, but you are welcome to walk at your own pace. The route is marked, allowing you to explore on your own or socialize whenever you prefer.
-
You will stay in a collection of hotels and guesthouses personally selected by us. In Trogir and Dubrovnik, you will spend two nights at the same hotel.
-
Your journey begins in Split and ends in Dubrovnik. Private bus transport takes you to the starting point of the Camino, and all further transport up to Dubrovnik is included
-
Although you follow a Camino route, the emphasis is on the culture and natural beauty of Croatia. This trip is specially curated for those who appreciate nature, fine food and wine, local heritage, and the art of slow travel, rather than a religious pilgrimage.
